Post Three - Classes

So you have you character, you are happy with the way it looks and you have a nice name for it. Now you have to decide what you want to be. I used to recommend that anyone starting out in WoW should pick a hunter as their first choice. A hunter is a great choice because at level 10 you get to tame a pet. Having a pet makes life and levelling so much easier! As a hunter, your prime weapon is 'ranged', which means you will be using a bow, gun or crossbow. Whilst your pet is munching on a monster, you will be shooting arrows at it. It's extremely hard to die with a hunter. Especially as at level 40 you can pretend to be dead and trick whatever you are fighting into leaving you alone! However, there have been recent changes in the game. Blizzard have made it easier to level and whilst the hunter is still a great choice it isn't head and shoulders above every other class. My reasons for making a hunter was because I saw one running around with a white tiger as a pet and I thought that looked pretty cool. Five years into playing the game I hardly ever play my hunter. My favourite classes at the moment are paladin, shaman and mage. My most favourite class is the shaman. This class is not for everyone, but I think they are fun to play and easy to level. They are tough to kill and have a wonderful array of tricks that keep you intrested in what you are going to learn next.
