Post Two - Name

Naming your character is as important as actually designing him or her. But before you do name it I will impart the sad news that nearly every name you choose will be taken. Once a name is taken on a server, you can no longer choose it. I have found that almost every character name from Steven Eriksons 'Malazan Book of the Fallen' has been taken. My first ever character was called Starling and there is a Starling on every server in WoW. Remember, your characters name represents you as well and how people will react to you within the game. Whilst levelling Starling I found myself in a group with a character called Excrement. Nice! There are a fair number of names which will tell you about the person that made them. I like to choose names from books or Mythology. There are a huge number of name generators on the internet.
